How to Filter by Credential
Credentials are awarded by George Brown College at the successful completion of programs of instruction consistent with the Ministry's Credentials Framework.

• Ontario College Certificate programs require the completion of two semesters of study.

• Ontario College Diploma programs require the completion of four semesters of study.

• Ontario Advanced Diploma programs require the completion of six semesters of study.

• Ontario College Graduate Certificate (post-graduate) programs typically require the completion of two or three semesters of study. Post-graduate programs are intended to build on the knowledge and experience gained through previous post-secondary study. A Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma is typically required for admission.

• Honours Bachelor's Degree programs require the completion of eight semesters of study.
How to Filter by Method of Study
The majority of George Brown programs are full-time. Some programs have a field placement experience, a co-op (scheduled periods of paid employment in related industries within an academic year) or an apprenticeship (an opportunity to learn under supervision from a skilled tradesperson on the job) as part of their requirements to graduate. George Brown also offers some programs through distance education where students do not have to be physically present on campus and complete their program through online tools and/or DVD modules.
