George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.
George Brown Polytechnic's Public Safety and Security is made up of security professionals on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to monitor and patrol over 1.9 million square feet of college buildings. Surveillance cameras are also located throughout the premises. All security guards are trained in Emergency First Aid and CPR and receive numerous other regular scenario training.
