The Canadian National Institute for the Blind’s 'Venture Zone' Podcast showcases dynamic entrepreneurs who are blind or partially sighted and curates expert advice about successfully running a business. 

A free-to-use video relay service that allows Deaf, Hard of Hearing and/or otherwise non-verbal user to access and make telephone calls using internet and cell-phone-based technologies to communicate through live Interpreters.

Access employment supports including an assistive devices program to source and or repair assistive technology, an employment services program to support with job search preparation, as well as social programming to help expand your network.

Employment Services at Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) offer free support to Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals, ages 16 and over, to find a job and succeed by working with employees and employers to put the right supports in place.

This six-month, part-time employment program is tailored to the needs of clients with mental health issues. Sessions address workplace accommodation, disclosure, stress management and job maintenance, as well as practical job search skills.

Mentorship is a great way to learn about a specific career, company or industry from an expert. It can be a great opportunity to explore careers you are interested in, get advice and ask questions from someone who has already pursued the career path you are considering.
