Joseph is a strategic and results-driven career educator committed to student success. He has been instrumental in enhancing career services, designing innovative programs, and spearheading initiatives that empower students to achieve their professional goals. Joseph aligns on-campus operations to deliver high-impact career development strategies, offering workshops, one-on-one advising, and tailored support from first year to graduation.
As a strong advocate for international students and newcomers, Joseph leverages his lived experience to provide culturally responsive career guidance, ensuring equitable access to career opportunities. He collaborates with faculty and industry leaders to develop networking opportunities, recruitment events, and industry-specific initiatives that bridge the gap between education and employment. Holding an MBA in Management of Technology and Innovation from Toronto Metropolitan University, Joseph is committed to adopting forward-thinking approaches that prepare students for an evolving job market.

Maryna possesses a Bachelor of Education Degree and a Career and Work Counsellor Diploma. With over 15 years of experience in the field of career and employment counselling, Maryna brings a wealth of knowledge and experience gained in both non-profit and higher education sectors. During her career advising experience, she has supported job seekers from all walks of life, representing over 80 countries.

With over 20 years of experience in career development, Stacey brings expertise and heart to her role at George Brown Polytechnic. She began her journey at GBP in HR and has since supported thousands of students and graduates through personalized coaching, workshops, and events.
Stacey is a Master of Education candidate and specializes in trauma-informed, culturally responsive education. Her approach blends real-world experience with emerging trends and digital tools, all within a safe and inclusive space. Rooted in equity and care, she is committed to making career development accessible, empowering, and tailored to each person’s unique journey.
Outside of work, Stacey enjoys birdwatching, listening to music, and spending time with family.
Lee Fontaine

Get to know Lee
Lee has been with GBP since 2014, starting out in a variety of student staff roles before joining the Career Services team as a Career Advisor and now Co-Ordinator. Lee holds an Advanced Diploma in HR Administration from GBP, and combines that with her career development and supported employment experience to provide guidance to students and colleagues of all abilities in her day-to-day and committee work. She has a passion for helping students get unstuck and finding their authentic selves professionally.
On her own time, Lee enjoys seeing live music at any of Toronto’s many amazing concert venues and taking her dog on adventures in the city.

His expertise ensures that employers have a smooth and efficient experience when posting opportunities and engaging with students. Additionally, Carlos is deeply committed to assisting internal stakeholders, particularly those in Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) departments. His dedication to fostering strong relationships with both external employers and internal teams underscores his commitment to student success and career readiness.
