Standard First Aid Certificate (must be valid for three years)

Please carefully review the certificate requirements for your specific program listed below. The following organizations currently offer these courses. They are not affiliated with the College and are provided for reference purposes only:

It is mandatory that you register for either blended format or an in-person training class. You must learn practical skills and complete the hands-on component of the course to meet the requirements.

Please do not register for an Emergency First Aid course or for any course offered fully online by providers in Canada or the United States.  We will not accept certificates obtained through fully online training. You will be required to retake the course at your own expense. All costs and service fees are responsibility of the student.

Effective June 22, 2026, the Ontario Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) has renamed the Standard First Aid certificate to “Intermediate First Aid”. For information, click on the WSIB First Aid Program link. Please check your program specific certificate requirement listed below.
