From their perspectives…
“Attending the Information Systems Business Analyst Program from George Brown College was one of the best decisions that I have made. This program was instrumental in providing me with the skills and experience necessary to integrate and perform
at the level of industry veterans, which is crucial in this competitive market. Support from multi-industry lecturers gave us broad-insight into the latest trends and best practices. Many opportunities from this program went above and beyond what
was outlined in its course syllabus. It catered to our individual professional needs, and celebrated the collected experiences and knowledge that each student brought to the program. This comprehensive program delivers the complete package that
employers are looking for, and the tools and knowledge that you need in order to succeed as a high-performing business analyst”.

“I have been working in the IT security field for a few years now, and recognize the shortage of trained and skilled IT security professionals. In my work, I regularly come across network configurations done by non-security technicians, which can
result in gaping holes in their company’s security capabilities. We see cyber-crime on the rise everywhere – especially as more operations become based on cloud and mobile solutions. As malware and the individuals who implement these threats become
more sophisticated, we need programs such as the Network and System Security Analysis program where IT professionals can become future security specialists”.
Milind Bhargava, Graduate 2011
“I can't fully emphasis how great, valuable, awesome, and beneficial the T405 program was! I still find myself falling back on skills I acquired, be it tools, soft skills, documentation or just an overall mental approach to problem solving. I can
definitively say that the program was hands down the best investment I ever made. It continues to pay off on a personal and professional level, and for that, I'll always be grateful.
Karim Dawood, Graduate 2012
The IT Security stream provided a lot of relevant and in-depth knowledge in security techniques and encryption methods. The program enabled the student to gain a deeper understanding of why IT Security is so important in the world today. I found the
content to be interesting and I was encouraged to learn as much as possible in IT Security.
IT Security encompasses all industries and it is vital to fully understand the details to protect valuable information. GBC provided me a strong basis to excel in the IT Security field with challenging yet interesting lab work with a ton of hands-on
experience and thought provoking lectures taught by an IT Security expert.
