Biography

Pauline Fu has taught courses on information systems, mathematics, statistics and accounting applications in universities and colleges in Canada and internationally. Her broad skills and comprehensive knowledge in technology and pedagogy help students gain a deep understanding of the subject matter. As a computer professor, she inspires and motivates students to apply computer knowledge and skills to solve real-life problems. Encouraging students to work as a team, she emphasizes the importance of communication, problem-solving, critical-thinking and team-work skills.

Dr. Fu is a passionate and committed mathematician, computer programmer and business analyst. Her expertise in these various disciplines has led to significant improvements in the use of technology for education, both in class and online. Her comparative study about different modes of delivery has contributed substantially to the educational field, both theoretically and practically. As well, she has developed computer programming projects and conducted educational research at the University of Toronto. She is also a proud author of two textbooks about computer applications published by Nelson Technology.
