George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.
We understand the distress that comes with a death in the family. Please note that you can speak to a counsellor through our Counselling and Student Well-Being office for personal support.
If you feel you need time to pause or alter your studies, you may be eligible to defer your courses due to extenuating circumstances, with approval from the Dean of your program. Please contact your Academic department for assistance.
If you wish to withdraw from the program, please contact your Academic department for guidance and review our withdrawal policies below.
