George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.
Students are supported during their co-op search. Available supports vary by program, but typically include access to a list of co-op postings with approved partners, access to co-op staff to answer questions during the search process, and on-going support from faculty and staff during the co-op. Co-op searches are competitive and students must be proactive and persistent in order to ensure success.
The first place to start is by contacting the work integrated learning office for your academic program. This information is provided to you during your co-op preparation class.
