Phan Thi became known as “napalm girl” after she appeared in Nick Ut’s 1972 photograph “The Terror of War.” She visited George Brown for a book launch on September 20.

The Foundation has come a long way since its beginnings in 1984. It has so far raised an incredible $100 million to support student success and fund innovation and expansion at the college.

Tom’s top piece of career advice? “Find the work that your heart feels good to do,” he says. In Tom’s case, that means spending his days supporting — and teaching — others.
