The Chef School's annual Holiday Gingerbread Competition celebrated its 17th year this November, bringing together 33 talented students who transformed beloved stories and films into edible architectural masterpieces.

George Brown Polytechnic’s Chef School is proud to highlight the release of Cooking Compassion, a new cookbook created by two long-serving faculty members.

George Brown Polytechnic welcomed Dr. Siyabulela Mandela, distinguished peace and human rights activist and great-grandson of Nelson Mandela, for an inspiring keynote address at Limberlost Place.

George Brown is located within the Toronto Purchase Treaty lands (Treaty 13). We are all treaty people, and we encourage you to take time this week and throughout the year to reflect on what that means and to consider our collective and individual responsibilities.

Dr. Has Malik has been appointed as Provost and Vice President, Academic at George Brown, effective January 5, 2026.

The George Brown College Foundation hosted its 12th annual Food Court Social, bringing together over 600 guests for an extraordinary evening that raised nearly $700,000—a record amount for the signature fundraising event.

Our partnership with Intellectual Property Ontario (IPON) helps us support small businesses and startups to secure their future ideas and innovations.

Dr. Fearon spoke at the Waterfront Symposium, hosted by the Toronto Region Board of Trade. George Brown hosted a tour of Limberlost Place as part of the event.
