Dr. Gervan Fearon, President of George Brown Polytechnic, reflects on why we are honouring William Peyton Hubbard by naming our Chef School atrium after him, and reaffirming our commitment to equity, inclusion, and the values that shape our community.

Hubbard’s connection to the Chef School reflects George Brown’s broader legacy of embedding equity, innovation, and public purpose into its academic and community spaces.

Chef School students worked with the City of Toronto’s Long-Term Care Dietetic Services department to create healthy and sustainable meals for long-term care residents.

Geoff Smith, Executive Chair of EllisDon’s Board of Directors and the former President and CEO, will be installed as the third chancellor of George Brown College during a convocation ceremony on Monday, June 9, 2025.

A week-long celebration is underway as George Brown College celebrates its Class of 2025 at convocation ceremonies taking place from June 9 to 13 at Meridian Hall.

Nadine is the CEO of the Ontario HIV Treatment Network and a faculty member in the Child and Youth Care program.

This week, we are kicking off Black Futures Month — a time for us to recognize and celebrate the incredible work and achievements of Black communities, including those here at George Brown College.
