George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.
Illness prevention and health promotion are the pillars of primary care in Canada. George Brown offers exceptional programs that prepare graduates to promote healthy living among Ontarians including Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant. The School of Allied Health also offers specialized medical office training programs like Health Information management and Office Administration-Health Services, and technical programs in Orthotics and Prosthetics and Hearing Instrument Specialist.
