The Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Trades and Skills Development (MLITSD), will grant each student up to a maximum of $28,000 to cover tuition, books, transportation and living expenses for programs up to one year in length and $35,000 for programs that are more than 1 year in duration and no longer than 2 years in length. Please be advised that George Brown Polytechnic cannot guarantee the Better Jobs Ontario eligibility of programs at the College. When researching programs, the following (MLITSD), guidelines provide some general eligibility criteria:
- The program must be no more than two years in length and should lead to a specified career path
- One year of academic upgrading permitted (if required)
