Biography

Prior to joining the PT Faculty at George Brown, Angela held senior HR positions in a wide cross section of businesses. This included Transportation, Investment Banking, Fast Food, Insurance and Consumer Packaged Goods. Angela is originally from Montreal, Quebec and speaks English and French and has 30+ years experience in Human Resources.

Angela has had extensive experience as an HR Generalist leading multi discipline HR teams. She has played a key role in various corporate restructurings and the reengineering of businesses. Throughout her career she led teams introducing revised compensation and benefits strategies, group pension and RRSP programs, new job evaluation programs, positive employee relations strategies and strategic recruitment programs. In her HR role, she also acted as in house consultant on employment related legal matters.

Areas of Specialization

Angela has taught a variety of courses offered in the School of Management, from Recruitment, Organizational Behaviour, Training, Compensation and Human Resources Management in the Diploma and Post Diploma programs. Lately, Angela has focused on the Human Resources courses in the Diploma program.
