In honour of Lorraine Trotter and her significant contributions towards the George Brown Polytechnic Community, The Helderleigh Foundation has created endowed scholarships in her name to continue her impact at the College, most recently as Dean, Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts (CHCA) from 2012 to her retirement in 2022.

The Helderleigh Foundation – Lorraine Trotter Endowment Awards and the Helderleigh Foundation – Lorraine Trotter Endowment Entrance Awards will support students enrolled at the Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts at George Brown Polytechnic, who demonstrate a strong passion and commitment to their field of study not only in the classroom, but in their communities. Through these annual awards, we aim to build upon Lorraine’s legacy of championing students and their successes.

Please consider donating to these awards today. All donations received to a maximum of $33,000/year until 2025, will be matched, doubling the impact of your charitable donation. Tax receipts will be available for qualified donors.
