startGBC – George Brown's Entrepreneurship Incubator collaborated with TDSB and EEP on the day of the event by engaging George Brown alumni entrepreneurs and community partners to serve as mentors and judges throughout the day. The event brought together young entrepreneurs and their educators to showcase business ideas and ventures developed throughout the EEP program. Students presented their concepts, receiving valuable feedback on their ideas, business models, and future growth opportunities.

From technology solutions to socially impactful ventures, participants demonstrated impressive creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills. The showcase provided students with a unique opportunity to practice pitching, build professional connections, and gain real-world entrepreneurial experience.

Hosted in George Brown Polytechnics innovative Limberlost Place, the showcase highlighted the value of partnerships between educational institutions and entrepreneurial ecosystems. By connecting students with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and post-secondary resources, the Entrepreneurship Education Program helps foster the confidence, skills, and networks students need to pursue future entrepreneurial opportunities.

A special thank you to the educators, mentors, and partners who helped make the event a success. Most importantly, congratulations to all of the student entrepreneurs whose passion, determination, and innovative ideas made the showcase such an inspiring experience.

The future of entrepreneurship is bright, and these young founders are already helping to shape it.
