After eight years away from Toronto, George Brown College President Dr. Gervan Fearon is happy to be back. 

“What I find special about Toronto is that you can actually find the world here,” he said. “It is a mosaic. It is a place where people come together.” 

In the latest instalment of his video series, Get to Know Gervan, he shares memories of his childhood in Toronto and explains what he loves most about the city. 

After successful leadership positions at Brandon University in Manitoba and Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, Fearon returned to Toronto in the summer of 2021 to lead George Brown College.
