At George Brown, we want everyone to feel safe, included, and that they belong. Do you know how to address discrimination, harassment, and hate?

Join us for a three-part series to earn your Human Rights Microcertificate! Each session takes a flipped classroom approach, inviting you to complete our e-modules in advance, then discuss questions and apply insights with your colleagues and members of the Office of Anti-Racism, Equity & Human Rights Services.

You'll get equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources to:

  • Understand what our policies and legal obligations mean for you
  • Recognize issues of human rights, sexual violence, and accommodations
  • Respond to and refer potential issues before they escalate
  • Make George Brown a safer and more inclusive working and learning community

This series is ideal for anyone who works with students, colleagues, or across units, or is ready to advance equity and belonging.

Equity and belonging involves all of us. We're looking forward to seeing you there!

If you have witnessed or experienced discrimination, harassment, or sexual violence, reach out to OAREHRS Advisors at diversity@georgebrown.ca or learn more at our website
