The purpose of the George Brown Polytechnic Finance Sustainability Scholarship is to encourage and promote academic opportunities for integrating sustainability into the curriculum at George Brown Polytechnic. This scholarship is being sponsored by the College's Finance Department and is funded through rebates the College receives for environmental sustainability activities.
The college-wide scholarship is open to all students at George Brown Polytechnic who demonstrate the following:
- an innovative idea related to environmental, social or economic sustainability through his/her applied research activity, in-class or capstone project
- a passion for their field of study
- minimum program GPA of 3.0 or higher
