George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.
George Brown Polytechnic is committed to providing our students with a learning environment that fosters access to education, diversity, and mutual respect. In partnership with the Indigenous Education and Services Office, George Brown Polytechnic has made a commitment to assisting Indigenous students in navigating the resources they need to excel in their academic and life goals.
As we continue to recognize the systems of oppression and systemic barriers faced by Indigenous peoples, we acknowledge the important work that still needs to be done to foster the road to reconciliation. Reconciliation efforts are a shared responsibility. Together, we hope to improve and expand the opportunities and services for Indigenous students at GBC.
With your kind donation, we will help Indigenous students in need with the financial support to achieve their education goals. Remember, 100% of your donation will go to Indigenous student support initiatives at George Brown Polytechnic. You will also be issued a tax receipt for your donation of $20 or more.
