Support the Liz Henriques Award for Single Parents

Liz Henriques and her daughter, Alexia Henriques

Liz Henriques, a longtime member of George Brown Polytechnic, has left her mark on the GBP community with over two decades of service. Now, with the creation of the Liz Henriques Award for Single Parents, she will continue her legacy of generosity and support for single parents pursuing their education.

Henriques, who will be retiring this year, credits George Brown Polytechnic with supporting her own academic journey as a single mother, along with starting her career after graduation. Through this new award, she hopes to pay it forward and provide the support and encouragement to students who are facing similar challenges. Your donation is greatly appreciated.

100% of your donation will go to George Brown Polytechnic students, no processing fees or administration fees will be applied to your gift. You will receive a tax receipt by email for donations made over $20.
