George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.
The Philippine Independence Day Council (PIDC) endeavors to celebrate and support the Filipino-Canadian community through honouring Filipino tradition and brings forward various contributions of groups and individuals to the consciousness of mainstream society.
Now, with the establishment of the Presidents' Bayanihan Scholarship, the PIDC continues their legacy by supporting Filipino and Filipino-Canadian students pursuing their studies at George Brown Polytechnic. Your donation will help ensure that future generations can pursue their academic goals and contribute to their communities.
100% of your donation will go to George Brown students, no processing fees or administration fees will be applied to your gift. You will receive a tax receipt by email for donations made over $20.
For additional information, please contact Steven Wong at the George Brown College Foundation at steven.wong2@georgebrown.ca. Thank you for your generous support.
