The Community Club: A Well-Being Project

What is Community Club?

A space for students to learn from one another, with a focus on hope, empowerment, possibility, and connection. Students design the courses and lead the learning, helping each other through conversation, videos, and other media.

Together, Peers navigate wellness and blend lived experience with the expertise of mental health practitioners to help develop meaningful and practical goals for growth.

Hear from our participants

"I participated in the Design the Club event online for the past 6 weeks. It was a fun learning experience. The atmosphere is relaxing, which I feel welcome to speak my ideas. It makes us feel involved in the school community by designing with peers about what the future students will learn. I also practiced how to organize the course content which other students are interested to learn."

"I would first like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a part of these sessions. It helped me to share my ideas with everyone and also increased my confidence to take part in such clubs even more. I can't wait to be a part of something similar in the near future!"

"'Design the Course' has been an amazing journey for me. We started with a blank slide and 5 weeks later, the team came a long way. Designing an entire course/program is never an easy task. One has to be creative and innovative in order to make it interesting and keep the audience hooked up. The entire team including the hosts came up with quite new and fun ideas to implement within the program and design it accordingly."
