George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.
Preparing Dental Health professionals for over 40 years
At George Brown, we offer the broadest number of dental health programs of any Ontario college in the GTA. Since we've been doing this for over 40 years, it's not surprising that we prepare nearly 500 students each year to work in the oral health care industry.
As part of their training, students have access to the WAVE Dental Clinic - over 24,000 square feet of space dedicated to the School of Dental Health. Here, students can develop their skills and practice in a safe clinical environment. Under the supervision of highly-trained faculty, students deliver low-cost dental care services to members of the public. These experiences teach the technical side of dental health and how to develop relationships with real clients.
