AI tools and technologies can support learning, teaching, communication, planning, analysis, creativity, service delivery, and everyday productivity. This section provides information about AI tools available through George Brown Polytechnic, examples of institutional AI-enabled service implementation, and guidance for using AI tools responsibly.
George Brown employees have access to Microsoft Copilot Chat through the Microsoft 365 environment, and a limited number of ChatGPT Edu licences are available for approved institutional use cases, pilot groups, and AI Innovation Challenge participants. This section explains what these tools can support, how access works, and why using institutionally supported tools through approved channels provides a stronger privacy and security foundation than unsupported public AI tools.
This section also highlights Salesforce Agentforce Student Support as an example of how George Brown is responsibly applying AI to support institutional service delivery.
