Field Education

Sometimes the best way to understand what you've learned in class is to practice outside the classroom

Field education opportunities provide students with valuable real-world experience related to the student’s field of study.

The Centre for Business offers many opportunities to gain practical, hands-on experience so our students are well-prepared to enter the workforce and launch their career. In addition to connecting students with employers, we also provide opportunities to participate in competitions, join business organizations, attend industry functions and events and learn from expert guest speakers.

Types of Field Education

Co-op is a paid and Internship is an unpaid work experience term which offers students the opportunity to apply their classroom learning on-the-job, giving them practical experience and further developing their skills.
