Biography

Julie Bulmash is the coordinator for the Human Resources program at George Brown Polytechnic and has been at the college since 2003. She brings several years’ experience teaching at the university and college level and has written textbooks on organizational behaviour, human resource planning and, most recently, strategic human resource management.

Julie has more than 20 years experience in human resources, working for technologically driven Canadian and multinational corporations. As a recognized contributor to organizational effectiveness, Julie has devised compensation and benefit programs, designed performance management systems, developed international human resources policies and programs and led several high-profile change management projects. She is an avid supporter of community engagement and has served on the boards of various non-profits including the George Brown Polytechnic Board of Governors. She is currently on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Mental Health Association Toronto. Julie is a recipient of the George Brown Polytechnic Excellence in Teaching and Learning award and the Ontario Volunteer Service Award of Ontario.
