George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.
Students registered with Accessible Learning Services (ALS) receive a specialized accommodation plan, which is shared with professors by an Accessibility Consultant. Students are strongly encouraged to register with ALS as early as possible to avoid a delay in service and so that your professors can work with you to meet your needs in the classroom, on tests and exams, and/or with Work Integrated Learning. If you need to make changes to your plan, you should advise the Accessibility Consultant as soon as possible and your professors will receive the updated plan. Please contact your Accessibility Consultant if you have questions about how best to communicate with a professor about your accommodations.
