This summer, students from George Brown Polytechnic's School of Architectural Studies are putting their skills into action at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), restoring a historic scale model of Toronto's Crystal Palace while gaining invaluable real-world experience in heritage conservation, documentation and architectural restoration.

George Brown College has emerged as a pioneering force in Ontario's mass timber construction sector, with its groundbreaking Limberlost Place project serving as a catalyst for significant changes to provincial building codes.

A team of 3 George Brown College students made it to the finals of the annual Metropolitan Design Competition. Their work will be showcased at IDS (Interior Design Show) in Toronto in January 2023.
