Thank you for your interest in the Employment Skills for Industrial Millwright Program.

The Industrial Millwright Pre-Apprenticeship program enables students to explore and develop skills related to the Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) trade. This free 32-week program will train students in theory and practice of machine fabrication and repair, maintenance needs of the manufacturing and production industry, mathematics, measurements and blueprint interpretation.

This program begin in June, 2024 and is offered to Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents who are 18 years or older.

Once your application has been received you will be invited to attend an information session to find out more about the program. If you wish to move forward with your application you will need to attend an assessment in Math and English. Suitable applicants will be contacted for a personal interview with the program admission committee. Successful candidates for program admission will receive official notification from George Brown Polytechnic after all intake interviews are completed.

Our Employment Skills for Industrial Millwright Program is offered at no cost to students, including tuition, supplies, uniforms and equipment.
