Location and Entrance  

The William Peyton Hubbard Atrium, The Chef School, St. James Campus, 300 Adelaide St. East, Toronto.  The main entrance is located at 300 Adelaide St. East.

Washrooms  

Washrooms with multiple stalls are located off of the north west side of the Atrium on the main floor. Additional washrooms are available on the basement, 2nd and 3rd floors.

  • Public Transit - The Sherbourne stop on King streetcar line is closest. The Chef School building is less than five minutes away  

  • Driving - 300 Adelaide St. East, Toronto is conveniently located in downtown Toronto and is easily accessible from across the Greater Toronto Area and Niagara Region via major highways including the Don Valley Parkway (DVP), Highway 401, the Gardiner Expressway, Highway 404, Highway 427, the QEW, and Highway 400. The venue is located just east of Toronto’s downtown core, near Adelaide Street East and Berkeley Street, with convenient access from both the east and west ends of the city.  

Parking  

Street parking near 300 Adelaide Street East is available via city-run Green P meters and apps. Paid spaces are typically found along Adelaide St. E., Richmond St. E., and adjacent side streets (e.g., Frederick St., George St.).  

On-Street Parking Details  

  • Rates: Ranging from $4.25 to $6.75 per hour depending on the exact street and time.  

  • Time Limits: Usually capped at 3 hours.  

  • Restrictions: Watch closely for localized rush-hour bans, which strictly prohibit parking between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.   

Off-Street Options (Nearby Garages & Lots)  

Given the limited nature of street parking, the following covered lots are highly convenient alternatives:  

  • 330 Adelaide St. E.: Nearby surface or garage parking with a 3-hour limit.  

  • 170 Frederick St. Lot: A large lot with 261 spaces just a 5-minute walk away. 

  • 128 Richmond St. E.: Located a 9-minute walk northwest of your destination. [1, 2]
