Future students explore post-secondary pathways at George Brown’s College Information Program event

Main Content

George Brown Polytechnic welcomed hundreds of high school students from across the GTA to its Waterfront Campus on October 14 for the College Information Program (CIP), a province-wide initiative that helps students explore post-secondary pathways and connect directly with colleges and polytechnics from across Ontario.

Representatives from 19 Ontario post-secondary institutions were on site to answer questions about programs, admissions, campus life and career opportunities. The event brought together students, teachers and guidance counsellors in an environment designed to support informed decision-making as students prepare for life after high school.

Discovering opportunities close to home

With more than 300 students representing 15 GTA high schools, the event gave future students a valuable chance to learn more about the many educational options available to them. George Brown teams were also on hand to showcase the polytechnic’s industry-connected programs, student supports, and hands-on learning opportunities.

Students could tour the Waterfront Campus and Limberlost Place and see firsthand where learning, innovation, and collaboration come together. These experiences help prospective students envision their future and how a post-secondary education can support their personal and professional goals.
