George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.

All transcripts must be submitted to Ontario Colleges – in some situations, you may be able to request your transcript directly through the Ontario Colleges website. See below for details:
- If you are in high school in Ontario, let your guidance office know you are applying and they will send your transcripts to Ontario Colleges for you.
- If you are currently in high school in another Canadian province, you need to send one (1) official transcript to Ontario Colleges.
- If you are out of high school, you need to arrange with your last high school to have one (1) official transcript sent to Ontario Colleges. Depending on where you went to high school, you may be able to request your transcript electronically through the transcript request service at Ontario Colleges website. If not, contact your last high school directly.
- If you have attended an Ontario college or university, order your official transcripts through the transcript request service at Ontario Colleges website.
- If you attended a college or university outside Ontario, but still in Canada, you must request that the institution you attended send an official transcript to Ontario Colleges.
- If you attended an educational institution outside of Canada and want to use your education for admission purposes, you can send the translated and notarized transcript to the Admissions office at admissions@georgebrown.ca. International transcripts do not require an evaluation for most programs. However, the following programs still require a Canadian equivalency evaluation: S100, S101, S113, S121, S134, S318, and S442. If you already have an official evaluation by ICAS or WES you may submit it on the Ontario Colleges website. The Admissions Office has the right to request foreign transcript(s) be submitted directly from the educational institution.
International Applicants
Once you’ve decided what program you would like to apply for, simply complete and submit your application through the Online Application for International Students and upload the necessary supporting documents including transcripts. You can find more information about what supporting documents are required in the Admission Requirements section.
Note: Applicants who wish to apply for Transfer Credit will require a third-party evaluation (ICAS/ WES)
