All full-time post-secondary students must register online via STU-VIEW. You will need your student ID number and password to access your STU-VIEW account. If you have forgotten your password, please call the Contact Centre for assistance at 416-415-2000, 1-800-265-2002 (Toll-Free).

Registration Checklist

  1. Pay Your Initial Deposit
    All new and returning students—and students who are beginning a new program—must pay the deposit in order to register. Invoices will be emailed to these students starting in mid-May and will also be available online through STU-VIEW. Please see How to Pay Fees for instructions on making a payment.
  2. Complete Your Placement Assessments (First Year Students Only)
    Check your Admissions Application Summary on STU-VIEW to see if you are required to complete a communications and/or math placement assessment for your program. If so, book your test(s) via STU-VIEW or by calling the Contact Centre at 416-415-2000. For more information, visit the Assessment Centre website.
  3. Check Your Registration Start Time
    Registration start dates/times will be posted on the STU-VIEW login page on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. 
  4. Refer to Your Degree Works Academic Progress Report
    Your Degree Works Academic Progress Report (otherwise known as your Credential Audit) is the most up-to-date list of all of the courses you have taken, and have remaining to take, to fulfill the requirements of your credential and complete your program. The audit report for your currently registered program can be found either as a locked card on your STU-VIEW homepage (after you have logged in to your account) or on the View All Cards page in STU-VIEW.   5. Choose Your Cohort (if applicable)
    Some programs require students to select a cohort before registering for their courses. The start date/time for your cohort selection is the same as your registration start date/time for your program. Check the Fall 2026 Registration Start Times page for your start date/time which will be posted on the STU-VIEW login page on Monday, July 6, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. To learn more about cohort selection, visit Programs with Cohorts.
  6. Register Online!
    Online registration for Fall 2026 will be staggered over two-to-three weeks starting on Monday, July 20, 2026. You can register online through STU-VIEW as soon as the registration window opens for your program/semester. During registration, programs with specializations will need to choose an Option.   7. Apply for Transfer Credits (If Applicable)
    If you previously attended another college or university, you may be eligible for transfer credits. You can apply for transfer credits (exemptions) online through STU-VIEW starting on Monday, July 20, 2026. For more information, see the How to Apply for Transfer Credits Online webpage.
  8. Pay the Balance of Your Fees
    Check your Invoice on STU-VIEW for your payment amount and due date for the Fall semester.
  9. Check Your Timetable Frequently
    It is important to check your timetable on STU-VIEW frequently, particularly the week before classes begin. Circumstances may require us to make changes to your schedule.
  10. Attend Your Classes!
    Classes begin on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
