Life is unpredictable. Learn UMAB -- Understanding & Managing Aggressive Behaviour with the Student Association!
UMAB introduces you to understanding a person’s behaviour. You will learn how do to identify signs of an impending crisis and use a trauma-informed approach to manage it.
If the situation becomes physical, you are taught self protection techniques.
This course is taught over two days (both in-person):
- Day 1 (Sat, Oct 19) teaches theory in a conversational style
- Day 2 (Sun, Oct 20) teaches physical self-protection
You must attend both days to earn the full UMAB certificate.
