Basic Improv Comedy Workshop - everyone is welcome. Open to new, returning and alumni students, staff and guests.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and 'up-in-your-head', it’s probably because you are HUMAN! These feelings are a valid response to a busy life, and sometimes we forget that we are allowed to feel how we feel, which includes the often-forgotten experience of joy! This workshop gently invites you to connect to yourself, others, and the moment with a sense of play. If you are like, "What's play? I don't remember this word and it makes me uncomfortable" - this workshop is for you! Or perhaps you feel like, "I don't have time for joy! Are you bananas!?" - then this workshop is for you! Or perhaps you are thinking, "I like fun" - then this workshop is for you! Only prerequisite is that you are human.
Prepare to leave with a smile on your face and a lighter heart - after all, laughter is the best medicine!
