Welcome to Orientation at Casa Loma Campus!

Today's your opportunity to explore the campus, attend your academic program's orientation, get to know our student services, find your community, and grab some swag at George Brown Polytechnic.

If you need any help during the day, please look for a volunteer in a blue shirt. They'll be happy to assist you!

Campus Tours

A tour group gathers in the Casa Loma lobby

Join a peer-led campus tour to help you navigate through the different Waterfront campus buildings. You'll visit throughout the buildings your classes will be in, the Library Learning Commons, the Athletic Centre, the Campus Store, the Student Association lounge, cafeteria, reflection rooms, and other student service areas.

Service Fairs

Make sure you visit the Service Fair in the cafeteria during the day.

Pick up a Campus Connections Passport to meet our student service teams — if you complete it, you'll be entered for a chance to win a prize!

Participating service areas include the Tutoring and Learning Centre, Library Learning Centre, Athletics and Recreation, Indigenous Services, Counselling & Student Well-being, Office of Student Conduct and Support, and more. 

Plus, make a stop at the caricature artist to get some fun artwork to remember the start of your new journey!

Campus Store

Stop by the Campus Store by the cafeteria to stock up on your supplies, equipment, textbooks, and more.

You can also pick up some George Brown merch to show off your school spirit! Don't forget to tag us in pictures of your new swag!

Black Student Welcome Mixer with BSSN

The Black Student Success Network (BSSN) invites all Black students to meet the community and learn about specific services and programming available throughout the school year. Come and mingle with your new peers!

Location: E Building, 146 Kendal Avenue, Room 219

Time: 12 to 1 p.m.

International Student Orientation

On May 1 from 10 a.m. to noon, new international students starting in the Spring/Summer 2026 term are invited to a specific orientation to meet one another and learn about relevant services, George Brown policies, Canadian Immigration regulations, health insurance, and more.
