Best of all, you probably already have many of the ingredients in your kitchen. Join Chef Michelle Massey as she shows you how to prepare this festive cocktail!

Batter
Makes enough for 12 drinks. Lasts for a few weeks in the fridge.
Ingredients:
- 115g butter (1/2 cup)
- 230g brown sugar (1 cup)
- 1 tbsp (or to taste) gingerbread spice mix or your favourite blend of holiday spices such as cinnamon, ginger, cloves and nutmeg
- 2 tsp vanilla
Method:
1. Mix ingredients until well combined and store in the fridge until needed.
For the hot buttered bourbon
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- Strong tea: 2 cups
- Milk: 1 cup
- Batter mix: 1/4 cup
- Bourbon: 4 oz
Method:
1. Combine milk and tea and heat until simmering.
2. Add milk/tea mixture, batter and bourbon to a blender and blend until smooth.
3. Pour into 2 large heatproof glasses or mugs.
