George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.

In this weekly program, non-culinary students can learn from George Brown chef collaborators how to prepare easy, whole-food, seasonal, and affordable meals while engaging with other students and staff over the meal. It's a chance to talk, eat, learn, and connect. In the Winter 2026 term, the program meets on select Wednesdays. There are two options to participate:
- Come to a lunch to sign up to participate in a cooking session from 10 a.m. to noon, 200 King St. E., Room 250E
- Drop in for pay-what-you-can lunch (suggested $5) from noon to 1 p.m., 200 King St. E., Student Success Hub, B155
