Accessing Student Counselling Support

Main Content

George Brown students physically located within Ontario can access free confidential counselling support through the following options:

Individual sessions with a counsellor

We provide short-term, confidential support for current students in Ontario. Our counsellors help students manage personal or academic challenges that may be affecting their well-being or school performance by building coping skills for navigating stress.

Wellness skill-building groups run by counselling staff

Five students sit on chairs in a half circle formation. Four look towards the woman in the middle, who is speaking and gesturing with her hands.

Learn techniques to better manage thoughts, behaviours, and emotions in a supportive community of other students through small-group sessions led by counsellors.

Peer mentorship programs run by Peer Mentor+

Connect with fellow students who understand your experiences through one-on-one peer mentorship or inclusive student groups.
