This rigorous course will help high-intermediate to advanced ESL students develop effective English communication and test taking skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking, as they prepare for the Academic and General Training modules of the IELTS test.
This course is intended for students who are required to submit proof of English language proficiency as part of their application for either:
- future academic study at an English language post-secondary institution
or
- a working visa, permanent residency, or Canadian citizenship
Students can expect to receive regular feedback from instructors who are IELTS testing process and protocols subject matter experts. To help students gain confidence as they prepare for their proficiency exams, learners will be required to take frequent practice tests including a mock examination.
