As the first nationally accredited program in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area by the Child and Youth Care Educational Accreditation Board of Canada, our child and youth care programs will teach you how to effectively work with and support children, youth and their families.

Child and Youth Care (Accelerated) (C153)

Apply to this program stream if you have a two or three year diploma or a three or four year degree. This program runs for 12 consecutive months. To start in May 2026, apply to the 2026/27 academic year. Graduates of this program are eligible to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).

Child and Youth Care (C133)

Apply to this stream if you are direct out of high school or are a mature student. This is a three-year program that starts in September. Graduates of this program are eligible to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).

Interested in a career in human services but don't have the academic qualifications?

Our Human Services Foundations  preparatory program will help you strengthen your academic skills and prepare you for entry-level employment in the human services sector and/or further education in a variety of human services-related diploma programs.
