Biography
As Vice-President, People and Culture, Susan Bowrah is responsible for the achievement of George Brown’s strategic objectives and vision through the design, direction and execution of a full range of human resources, organizational development and public safety and security practices and programs.
Susan joined the college in 2018 to lead the human resources consulting, labour relations, and health, safety and wellness functions. Prior to joining George Brown Polytechnic, Susan led a global centre of excellence as Associate Vice-President, Talent Management and Leadership Development with TD Bank. Susan has spent more than 20 years in the private sector, in progressive human resources leadership roles in financial services, telecommunications and automotive organizations.
Susan earned her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, her Master of Business Administration at York University and is a Certified Human Resources Leader.
