Biography

Dr. Sinha is a quantitative finance specialist with expertise in several areas of finance including financial engineering, equities, foreign exchange, interest rates, and derivatives, among others. His current area of research is in the field of computerized and algorithmic trading. Before getting back into academics, Dr. Sinha worked with several hedge funds, mostly in the United States.

Dr. Sinha has a passion for teaching. He has taught at undergraduate as well as graduate levels. He is able to bring his vast experience in the field of finance to the benefit of his students in the classroom. He focuses on helping students learn on their own so when they are no longer students in the classroom, they have the ability to critically analyze and arrive at a solution on their own. He encourages experiential learning by giving them research projects and case studies to work on.
