Biography

For the past 18 years, Babak Sarjoughian has been involved in all of the important aspects of international trade including the import and export of consumer products in Canada, UAE, Iran, China, India, Turkey and Singapore. Currently he consults to Canadian and international firms on the sourcing and import/export of textiles, foodstuffs and electronics. His financial and accounting experience together with his academic background have furthered Babak’s career and helped him develop particular expertise in foreign-exchange transactions, trade finance, international trade research, market-entry strategies, import, export, freight forwarding and customs laws. His wealth of practical experience and detailed, real-life examples help his students to understand and remember what they learn.
