Why am I being charged more tuition?

Overloading (going above 100% course load in a single term) results in extra tuition fee being charged. Overloading can happen if a student does not follow the course progression as outlined (e.g. student takes fewer courses in one semester and has to take more in another), causing additional fees to apply. Total course load differs between programs and semesters. Please connect with your Academic Department for more information about your course load.

If you are required to take foundation-level courses, you will be charged additional fees when you register for your college-level courses, usually in semester two. For example, a student taking COMM 1000 and then COMM 2000, or foundations-level Math and then college-level Math, will be charged extra fees.

The breakdown of the fees charged is available on STU-VIEW by going to Financial Services> Account Summary.

The account statement is available on STU-VIEW by going to the Financial Services> Payment History & Statements in PayMyTuition> Statement. Select the term you want the statement for and click on the Excel or PDF icon on the top right to download it.

Note: Please use a laptop or desktop as the download option will not show up on a mobile device.
