George Brown Polytechnic is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.
New Student Orientations and Transition programming (including Up and Running New Student Preparation Days, Academic Program Orientations, Week 3 Service Fairs, Skills for Success Workshops) are a great way to connect with fellow students, staff and faculty, and find out what to expect to help get you started on the right track each semester.
Orientation & Transition programs focus on helping you navigate when getting started each term, help you build connections and get involved outside of the classroom, and aim to prepare you to be a successful learner. Ongoing orientation and Student Life activities will ensure you are in the know of the many supports and services offered to assist in your success.
