How do I book and pay for my Admission Assessment?

These instructions are for how to book and pay for the Admission Assessment in English, Math, and/or Science for mature applicants as part of the application process, before receiving an offer of admission. A mature applicant is a person who is 19 years of age or older on the start date of the program, and who does not have the required program credit(s) i.e., Grade 12 English.

The Admission Assessment measures if the applicant has the academic skills required to start the program. Applicants writing the Admission Assessment have to pay a fee. Please see the table below.

Steps to book and pay on STU-VIEW.  

1. Use the Applicant Login and go to the Applicant Information card. 
2. Select the "Applicant and New Student Information" link. This will open the "Applicant Information" page with additional applicant cards. 
3. Go to "Applicant Admission Summary" card and select the "Admissions Assessment Booking".
4. If applicable, agree to the terms of usage by selecting the "Continue" button (note: if agreed upon before, this screen will not be displayed again).
5. If you have to take assessments for multiple intakes, it will be shown on this page. This page will also provide payment methods and the cost of the assessment(s). Lastly, it provides information on receiving accommodations for the assessment if it is required (i.e. students with disabilities). After reviewing the information on the page, to continue booking the assessment(s) and to pay for the assessment(s), select the "Yes" button below, "Proceed to Book Test Now."
6. A calendar will appear with dates and times. Select a date/time that is appropriate for you.
   Note: You can only book your assessment 5 days in advance.
7. Review the information on the assessment booking and make note of the details, and if correct, select the "Confirm Test Reservation."
8. Payment is required to proceed with the booking. Select the "Pay for Assessment Test" button to continue with payment.

Applicants can also pay in person at the Assessment Centre after they have booked the test on STU-VIEW. Please note types of payment accepted:

1. Debit, tap is not accepted.
2. Credit Card (Visa or Master Card), tap is not accepted

         NOTE: Personal cheques are not accepted.

If you require accommodations for pre-admission or placement testing, you must register with Disability Services before you book your test. Please contact the Disability Services Intake Coordinator at 416.415.5000.2622 for registration information. Accommodations will not be provided unless they are arranged prior to your test appointment.
