In this fun environment, black students have the opportunity to learn from and socialize with other black students. BSSN is here to ensure that you are well-equipped with the tools you need to successfully navigate your way through college.

Speed Friending

Are you having trouble making friends in this half virtual/half outside world? We might have a social to your problem! Come and meet other George Brown College students just like you! You might meet you next manager, best friend or even better, your spouse!
Like speed dating, you will be in rooms meeting one on one with someone new for 3 minutes, then you will move into the next room and meet another new person. At the end we will bring everyone back to the main room and give everyone the opportunity to be able to share contact information and network as a group. Then you decide if you want to half virtual/half outside world meet them. You don't want to miss the fun and surely hilarious night to be remembered! Happy Speed Friending!

Students and the general public will have the opportunity to meet some black businesses and have the opportunity to purchase their products or services. Giveaways for services can be won as well.
